The starting point for this exhibition-performance was a collection of photographs with a theme. How could this collection be transformed into a temporal experience creating new knowledge?
We knew that music should have a central role as a mediator between information and emotion. Lithophone is an installation playing with our perception of space, sound, light and motion. With a poetic approach the installation choreograph a story about human behavior and mans struggle to create order in a chaotic world. Sound. light and motion animate a fifteen minute long mechatronic narrative. Sometimes moving chaotically, then evolving to several competing musical and visual forms connected to it's story. Lithophone was shown at Växjö konsthall autumn 2012
